Age
Drivers must be between 21 and 75 years of age.
Calculation of rental days
Rental days are calculated on a calendar day basis. The day of pickup is counted as day one regardless of pickup time and the return day is counted as the final day regardless of dropoff time.
"Fair Go Cancellation Policy"
If you cancel your booking 22 or more days prior to pickup your deposit will be refunded 100%.
If cancelled 21-7 days prior to pickup you will be charged 20% of gross rental or $250 whichever is greater.
If cancelled 6-1 days prior to pickup you will be charged 50% of the gross rental or $250 whichever is greater.
If cancelled on the day of pickup or no show you will be charged 100% of the gross rental.
Late pickup or early return does not qualify for any refund.
If booking through an agent additional fees to those list above may apply at their discretion.
Payments and refunds are conducted in Australian dollars. Currency fluctuations may occur and affect the amount refunded in terms of your local currency. Ecocampervans accepts no liability in this regard.
Extending rental
Extensions to the rental period must be authorized in advance by contacting Ecocampervans on 1800 811 646. Due to prior bookings extensions may not be possible but if they are payment must be made by credit card at the time of authorization.

Insurance excess
- $1,000 for drivers aged 25 and over
- $1,500 for drivers aged under 25
Merchant services/ how to pay
- Deposit of 20% of the gross rental value to secure your booking can be made via our website, by fax or over the phone.
- Bond: credit card essential. Age 25 and over $1000. Age 21 to 24 $1500.
Payment
Full payment is required before travelling and can be made by the following:
Credit cards – Mastercard/ Visa Card/ Bankcard via website, fax or on location.
American Express on location.
Direct money transfer or via the internet to our Westpac bank account.
Cash, traveller’s cheque or bank cheque
Personal and company cheques are not accepted.
Personal Insurance
Personal injury is covered in most cases by the vehicles CTP Green Slip Insurance that is compulsory with vehicle registration. However it is recommended that travellers have Personal Travel Insurance.
Pets
Pets are not permitted in our campers.
Traffic Infringements
All traffic infringements must be handed in when returning the camper. The customer agrees to Ecocampervans charging infringements to their credit card even if they arrive after the completion of the rental.
